Racial Conflict and Christianity

← Back to Listen

This six-part series was preached by Shaun Willcock of Bible Based Ministries in the context of the United Nations World Conference Against Racism held in Durban, South Africa, in 2001. Rather than addressing racial conflict in the world’s terms, Willcock examines what the Scripture itself teaches — from the origin of all nations in Adam and Eve, through the division of peoples at the Tower of Babel, to God’s sovereign ordering of all national boundaries and the equality and inequality of mankind before God.

The series is grounded throughout in Acts 17:24–28, Paul’s declaration that God has made of one blood all nations of men, and that he has determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation. Full sermon transcripts are available for each part.
